Monochrome Canvas works with trusted photographers to help clients create clear, well-prepared images for reproduction, print, documentation, and online use. Depending on the project, photography may be handled through one of our partner photographers or through a setup we recommend based on your needs.

This service works well for artwork reproduction, product photography, and other projects where image quality matters and size may be a factor. Photography is often a route we recommend when works are quite large, textured, reflective, or otherwise not ideal for scanning. Because different projects vary in scope, subject matter, styling, file needs, and intended use, pricing and expectations can differ from one session to another.

For many flat works and a wide range of sizes, large-format scanning may also be a great option. If you are exploring lower-cost digitizing routes first, we recommend reading about the free scanner at the Cleveland Public Digital Library to see whether that approach may fit your project.

The listed fee is a starting point for photography coordination and smaller-session needs. Larger, more styled, or more specialized projects may require custom pricing, and we’ll help guide you to the right fit before moving forward.
