Bluebells are often one of the first signs that the landscape is waking back up, spreading in quiet clusters across forest floors and along shaded trails. Their short bloom window makes them easy to miss, but they play an important role in supporting early-season pollinators when not much else is available.
In many traditions, bluebells are associated with humility, gratitude, and quiet resilience. They don’t demand attention, but they return each year, marking the shift between seasons in a way that feels steady and dependable.
This drawing is part of a series honoring the native wildflowers of my region. I live near so many incredible trails to explore in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It’s my favorite way to recharge and reconnect with the landscape that inspires my work.
Choose from several versions, including full-color watercolor and monochrome linework, each printed on archival paper for lasting quality.
Prints are produced in small batches and may vary slightly in paper texture, depending on availability, but all are museum-grade giclée prints made to last.
